Invasion of the Zombies (USA) (working title)
Toxic waste dumping outside a popular teen hangout results in monstrous creatures as the toxic waste mutates the plankton
around human skeletons in local ship wrecks. Now as Planktomen the creatures are on the hunt and out for blood. Party beach
is going to need a new name.
Okay folks, I gotta dilly for ya this time. Let's start with the monster designs, unique but way goofy. To goofy for school,
but I can live with goofy monster designs. After all, I love Power Rangers and some of their monsters can be goofy. The concept
basically works, the odds of toxic waster mutating those plankton hanging around a skeleton is pretty high. Now the real mean
of why I was disappointed with HORROR OF PARTY BEACH, all the musical filler. Why, oh why did practically every movie in the
1960s have to have at least 1 musical number? They padded the film way to much. To me it was more THE PARTY OF HORROR BEACH
instead of the other way around. But there are some likable qualities to this movie, so 2 STARS
I agree with almost everything said, all the bad part. That's why I can't stand these low budget losers of the sixties.
I am a child of the sixties and I never liked these cheapies that they make during the weekend and throw onto screens on Monday.
They make me sick, I doubt they even try to make a good movie, so I give the CRAP OF PARTY BEACH, THE NOOSE!
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE DESIGNS (Goofy, but kind unique)
+ CONCEPT (Far fetched but doable.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- GOOFY CREATURES (Unique but still goofy.)
- FAR FETCHED (That the right things would happen to make so many Planktomen.)
- TOO MUCH MUSIC (I think they padded the film way too much.)
- FAN BASED (If you don't like really cheesy movies, then this isn't the movie for you.)
