THE PLOT:

Strange things are happening in the small lakeside town of Mountview. Unexplained deaths due to animal attacks are linked to a strange and unknown species of roach and the Sheriff either can't do anything to stop the wave of murders or won't.

So Shannon calls in the one man who ain't afraid of no bug, that brave man is General George S. Merlin, ex-soldier now exterminator who exterminates with extreme prejudice.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

This movie has an incredible cast include Star Trek alumni James Doohan and George Takei. Just wish we got to see more of the larger bugs and not have to wait until the end to see a really big bug. But that's minor complaint, the story and the cast makes this worth watching. 8 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

True that the cast is amazing, but makes you wonder what they were thinking. The story is somewhat generic to a 1970s' movie, the creature was good but I'm not sure if it was worth waiting for and the ending was somewhat disappointing. For me, the movie is worth only 6 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The creature effects is cool, but VOLTRON isn't sure if it was worth waiting for.)
+ CAST (An incredible cast.)
+ STORY (It's generic story but it works.)
+ ACTING (The acting is good.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- MORE BIG BUGS (We wanted to see more big bugs.)
- STORY (Was generic and not sure it's worth sitting through.)

...AND FINALLY...

- DISAPPOINTING ENDING (Predictable ending leaves it open without really being bad, but seemed tacked on.)
