THE PLOT:

Harry Griswold is about to learn that there is more on heaven and Earth then he could have ever dreamed of, as a dying Kabuki actor infuses him with an ancient power that could save the world from a demon destined to rise from hell and destroy the world.

Now the only other problem is other Kabukimen spend their whole lives training for the power before the gift is given, Harry was thrown into this and adapting to the power while keeping it a secret may be more of a challenge then saving the world.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Another Troama unique classic with interesting and strange concept and characters. But some mind find it boarding on racist in places and not exactly enlightened but there is enough good stuff in this weird movie to recommend it. 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

This is the best use of the character, the next use of the character turns him into a sick joke. The whole half mask with the wig attached just seem cheap to me. But like Zedd said there is just enough to recommend it. 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (A bit gross but interesting.)
+ STORY (Works, basically.)
+ CHARACTERS (Most of the human characters worked.)
+ HUMOR (Slightly silly but not totally idiotic)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- HALF MASK (Somewhat cheap.)
- RACIST (Some might find this somewhat racist.)

...AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the whole Troma style, then this isn't for you.)
